I think it is cute.
And feminine.
And it's mine!

I don't know why women hate their tummies so much.
I saw a women the other day in Union Square....with a belly like mine. She was wearing a tight shirt. Her muffin tops poked out a bit between her shirt and her jeans. She was beautiful. And she didn't seem to care about her belly.
This is a photo shoot idea i want to explore more....the things that women love and hate about their bodies and why.
Of course, I barely have the time to breathe right now so taking on another project is probably a bad idea.....but we'll see!

I know this is an old post but I like it alot and wanted to comment. This website http://theshapeofamother.com/
is amazing and captures the beauty in the bodies that women are left with after pregnancy and childbirth. Some days I have to remind myself to be at peace with my new shape and my body full of stretch marks but this sight reminds me that they are the markings of a miracle. The ruins of a sacred blessing...to grow and carry a life in my belly and to become a mother. My body was the vessel that protected him and carried him from a single cell to a full, beautiful, chubby, baby boy. The world spun around me but my belly kept him safe and snuggled tightly inside until he was ready to enter the world. To accept my belly I thank God for it's power and for giving me my son.
Love your belly's ladies!
