Puss-Kish Ponky

I have been reading a lot of Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes' poetry lately and I have become very interested with their tragic love story. I found some letters that Ted wrote to Sylvia. (Love Letters) I watched the movie. There are some documentary videos on YouTube as well. And people on YouTube have made several videos reading poems by both poets.

While searching for information about the couple I stumbled upon a video which contained this image of an eye that I liked so I decided to keep it....
Whoever drew this eye I have to say I am a bit jealous. It's beautiful. I used to be able to draw like this....but then the camera became my main tool for artistic expression and it's been a long time since I have done any drawing.

Back for good this time.

I have had a lot to say and post lately! Which is great because I don't think I posted a single blog in here all summer.

Anyway, me and Nacona's new friend Savannah is going back to Australia tomorrow. :-(
I'm going to miss her....she's a great model! And fun! And she has just as much to say about boys as I do!

It was nice to have a girly girlfriend around. And now she's leaving....*le sigh.




In another news, I think I may get to do an internship!!! And maybe even get some college credits for it! That would be awesome!


So I have been into the band Noah and the Whale lately. But then I discovered this chic Laura Marling who plays with them Igueess. (She's in the 5 Years Time video.) I wish I could sing. I would make the best music videos EVER! Kind of like this one but BETTER!

Sometimes I am my own muse.

I can't stop taking pictures!!!
It's great to be so inspired!
I haven't felt this inspired in a long time.
And I was kind of a trendsetter today with all of my picture taking, I guess, since everywhere I stopped to take a photo people gathered around to see what I was so inspired with and took out their cameras and took pictures too!
I know it seems strange but really....I have proof!


I was IN LOVE with these leaves! I spent awhile just walking around the same spot taking photo after photo...I will have to add a few to my website later.

I also got some great images of some construction workers, which will also go on my website soon. And I took a couple of self portraits here and there, including the one below which I like to call "I touch things I'm not supposed to..."

I'm going to be Nacona for Halloween! Ha!

A new friend told me recently that I should find a way to combine my love for music and my photography. Movies are moving photographs.
I want to make movies. Beautiful movies. Music videos mostly. Rock operas and such.
I was watching NY Noise tonight and I saw this video by Ra Ra Riot that I really liked. It's something different. And I like that.

World Zombie Day 2008

Yesterday, October 26th was World Zombie Day and the N.Y.C Zombie Crawl! Zombies met at the Beauty Bar on E 14th at 2pm for some beer and brains! There were free zombie makeovers! The Zombie Crawl began around 4pm. Everyone made their way to Union Square in search of delicious brains and a nice setting for a "class photo". Babies cried and little old ladies were terrified! The zombie parade continued through the Lower East Side and ended at The Knitting Factory,the site for the Living Dead Girlz of San Francisco Zombie Nation Tour!

To be happy.....
